Education:
Ganos is an impressionist landscape oil and watercolor painter. His work possesses an intensity and harmony of color inspired by events or locations. Ganos work reflects these qualities with lyrical and bright paintings of the many places he has visited around the world. On a trip to Arles, France, he painted some of Van Goghs sites as they are today in combination with the masters work done one hundred years ago. He also finished a series of paintings based on his experiences on a National Geographic expedition to Antarctica and another series of Peru, South America.

Career:
Tas has created over 450 paintings. His oil paintings are characterized by fresh and luminous color while his watercolors are soft and spontaneous. He has had solo shows at the E. Tzourdos Gallery in the island of Idra, Greece and at the Union League Club, Chicago. He has hosted Spotlight on Northbrook Arts (NCTV 17 local television, Northbrook, Illinois) and has lectured at the Hellenic Link Midwest Society on the inspiration provided to his paintings by the glory that was Greece. Ganos work has also been featured in the Greek Star, Greek American newspapers, and East on Central Publications. Ganos has exhibited at the Chicago Hellenic Museum and Cultural Center; Replica Gallery, Santorini, Greece; Suburban Fine Arts Center; North Shore Art League; Arts in Northbrook; Art Post Gallery; Northbrook Village Hall; the Skokie Holocaust Museum; Brio Gallery, Galena, Illinois; and the Galena Artists Guild Gallery.
